Artist Imagines How Different Dog Breeds Came In Existence And Hilariously Illustrates Them

Ever wonder how these different breeds of dogs came to be?

Well, you don’t have to wonder any longer since this illustrator has all your answers. I think we all know by now that all dogs are a sort of extended family of wolves. However, what about the fact that many breeds don’t look anything like a wolf? The only kind that even resembles a wolf is a husky, and that’s it.

That is probably why webcomic artist Ben Hed did some extensive research and have found the ancestors of different dog breeds. And yes, he is 100% scientifically correct, you don’t need to check for yourself. Ben Hed is the same artist that gave us such classics as Pixie and Brutus, and he isn’t stopping anytime soon.

To check out more of his work, you can head on to his Instagram, where he posts all the latest news and comics. So scroll on below and take a look at how different breeds of dogs came to be.

His explanations are quite , impressive.

Surprisingly, this does weirdly make a lot of sense.

Sure, A chubby troll it is.

I always thought it was a hot dog, but a ferret makes much more sense.

I think we all already knew that Great Danes have a horse in them.

Most people would say a rat, but I get you.

I just thought it was funny how some dogs look so similar to wolves and some don’t, at all, even though they are all supposedly related. I haven’t spent much time with any of these breeds, and as far as looks go, they’re all interesting in their own way. I like to keep a mix between solo comics and reoccurring comics. I’ve stocked up on comics (for later this summer for when I start work at a Bible camp), so I know that most of the upcoming comics are solo comics.

A very long time, I’d imagine.

You never know, they might find away.

That’s what I thought.

These are facts right here.

An obese one indeed.

But hamsters aren’t that long?

I may not be a dog person, but pugs are quite cute in real life as well.

I never thought of it like that, but perhaps that is true.

Maybe she was trying to dupe you?

This person knows what’s up.

Basically, yes.

And loving to an immense degree.

The artist will probably do more dog breeds in the future.
