You see, she always wanted to save ‘unwanted’ dogs. What do I mean by unwanted? Well, the dogs that are left behind and nobody adopts them. That is why Tracy collects these dogs from Texas kill shelters and finds them homes all around the state. Tracy’s Dogs started in 2011, and since then they have adopted more than 3700 dogs.
Tracy’s Dogs has recently partnered with Pet Smart, and they set specific locations where the new owners meet their new family members. They haul out dozens of dogs into a 32-foot trailer and take them to these locations. These sites range from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana to Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, and Florida.
“I have never seen so many adorable dogs get adopted on the same day. It seemed like most of the dogs knew that they were finally going home to their forever family and would never worry again. I can’t believe that if it wasn’t for your help these dogs would no longer be here. This was the most heartwarming thing that I have seen in a while.” were one commenter’s thoughts.
